Lorin Coil Service Center offers slitting, shearing of anodized aluminum

Lorin Industries Inc., Muskegon, Mich., a producer of coil anodized aluminum, has announced that its Coil Service Center offers slitting, shearing to leveled sheets, and custom packaging of its materials.

The company can deliver anodized aluminum in full coils or cut-to-length leveled sheets, such as for architectural projects or consumer goods with smaller parts. Lorin offers sheet sizes 0.004 to 0.100 in. thick, 7 to 62 in. wide, and 8 to 182 in. long. When shearing to custom lengths and widths, the company uses leveling techniques that do not damage the anodic layer. It also can slit coil in widths as narrow as 1/2 in.

Whether the anodized aluminum materials are secured to skids, shrink wrapped, or custom crated, the company offers specialized packaging for domestic and international shipping to ensure they arrive damage-free.
